Animal Behavior

Natural selection is part of evolution. Animals behave in ways that tend to maximize their fitness. Natural selection favors animals that maximize the differential between benefits and costs. Animal behavior provides a great deal of information about the extent to which the animal copes with the environment in which they are kept.
